Philippines/Cebu: Cebu Lechon Suckling Pig

Cebu is famous all over Filipinos for its suckling pig aka lechon. The town of Carcar in the middle of the island is know as the place making the best and juiciest lechon. Entire piglets are slow roasted and the pig is stuffed with bay leaves, scallions, garlic, black peppercorn, lemongrass, garlic, salt, and other spices. The meat is “finger-licking” and is sold by kilos. Absolutely delicious!
