Samal Island is located just off the coast from Davao City. The island has great white sandy beaches, a central mountain range, and ok-ish resorts. For people living in Davao City it’s a getaway spot for the weekend – only half and hour ferry ride away. The ferry is basic and crowded but the ride is scenic.
