Philippines/Palawan: El Nido – Shimizu Island
And perhaps the cream of the crop of El Nido was the small Shimizu island where the limestone cliffs form stand alone pillars and towers with sharp jagged edges pointing skyward. A beautiful white sand beach contrasts nicely with the black limestone and blue ocean. And there was a sneak with two guides in disagreement of how poisonous it was.
