Poland: Wooden Churches of the Carpathians
UNESCO lists eight wooden churches in the Carpathian region on the border with Ukraine as part of the Wooden Churches of the Carpathian World Heritage site. They are all spread around in little villages, some easy to get to and some hidden. Additionally, there are quite a few other similar churches in the small village, most dating to the same period between 16th-19th century. One of the pretest of them is Mother of God Church in Chotyniec, just miles from Ukraine, with beautiful wooden domes.
