Roatan: Arch’s Iguana Park – Green Iguanas
While Roatan is famous for diving, there plenty of amazing wildlife experiences in land. Wanna see hundreds of green iguanas? Head for Arch’s Iguana Park where green iguanas are bred and released on the island. While the green iguanas is lot originally native to Roatan, they have spread and adapted well. At the park, you can get close and personal with dozens at a time, pet them (they enjoy it), see massive 15kg males, and even feed them. Green iguanas are harmless and vegetarian, despite the velociraptor-like looks.
