Russia: Moscow – Nevskiy Monastery & Danilov Monastery

Danilov Monastery and Nevskiy Monasteries are lesser known Russian monasteries in Moscow. They lie outside the Red Square area and take a little bit of subway navigation to get here. Not many tourists make it out here and it’s a shame as both are good examples of the Russian religious architecture with their golden domes and bright colors.
