Saint Helena: Jamestown Harbor
Jamestown harbor is a natural harbor making ship landing a much easier affair then on the other Atlantic islands, it’s more or less sheltered, deep, and calm. The harbor has been essential for the island’s trade and communication with with outer world for centuries, and was the only way to receive goods before the airport was built in 2017 – RMS St Helena would travel from Cape Town to St Helena and the journey took 8 days one way. Great place to watch sunsets!
