Samoa: Apia – Immaculate Conception Cathedral
Samoa has more churches than perhaps any other country in the world and the grandest of them is the central Immaculate Conception Cathedral in the capital of Apia. Originally built in 1894, it was renovated in 2014 at a staggering cost. The building is massive (2000 worshipers) capacity with blue domes and glass-stained window. And it’s even more stupendous inside, especially when packed to the rim with singing Samoans. Also outside is the Immaculate shop and coffee where you can get all your immaculate books and have an immaculate cup of joe to satisfy you immaculate needs.
