Saudi Arabia: Faisaliah Tower

Faisaliah Tower is one of the most recognizable skyscraper in Riyadh – a uniquely shapes spire with a golden globe on top. The tower of 44 floors looks like a cone with an observation platform below the glass globe and a restaurant inside it. The glass globe is 24 meters in diameter and is made from 655 glass panels. Panoramic views of Riyadh are in all directions. The tower was designed by the British architect Norman Foster. It was built by the Bin Laden Construction Company.
