Serbia: Belgrade – Church of Saint Sava
The Church of Saint Sava is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world and religious buildings globally. The church is one single dome built in a shape of a cross. Once you enter inside – you really have to crane your neck to look up at the ceiling of the cupola high up above you. The dome has beautiful mosaics and walls and columns also provide an atmospheric cave-like feeling.
