Serbia: Krusedol Monastery
And yet another monastery on the Fruska Gora Mountain. Krusedol is one of the most important monasteries in Serbia, containing the remains of several royal members as well as two Serbian Orthodox Church patriarchs. While simple and assuming from the outside, the inside is decorated with absolutely insane frescos – all original – painted between 15-17th centuries.
