Sierra Leone: Traversing Sierra Leone on N3

The major road traversing the entire country south to north is N3, a smooth an ls easy ride. The country is rather flat for most of the road – lots of sugarcane and fields. As you get closer to the capital, Freetown, the terrain gets progressively hillier and steeper. At times, it feels like you are driving in FL or TX – the asphalt is smooth and markings intact.
