South Africa/FS: Golden Gate Highlands NP – Exploring the Park

Golden Gate Highlands National Park has a lot to offer for exploration – several loop drives that showcase the park’s stunning scenery, golden sandstone cliffs, rich wildlife, and unique flora: There is Orion Loop and Blesbok Loop. The latter offers spectacular views of grasslands and the famous Brandwag Buttress, plus there are usually a lot animals here – mostly blesbok antelopes and zebras (we saw plenty of both). The former loops is equally awesome with endless field of wildflowers and more wildlife. And of course, the park’s main road leads to all the sandstone cliff attractions!
