South Africa/LP & MP: Kruger NP – Lions
When you see a whole pride of lions with a male and six females lying in the grass, you stop and pretty much spend the rest of the day observing them. The big-maned male hardly moves around, just raising his head once in a while, while the females patrol the territory all the time.
