South Georgia: St. Andrew’s Bay – Views From The Water
For a totally different perspective of the enormity and scale of the king penguin colony at the St Andrew’s Bay it should be seen from the water while cruising on zodiacs or ship. The entire coastline is peppered in penguin bodies, penguin are going in and out of water and the colony itself rises in the background up the steep terrain of the glacial moraine. Absolutely surreal views of upwards of 300,000 king penguins, the largest colony in the world!
