South Korea: Incheon – Sinpo International Market
Sinpo International Market is a famous historic traditional market in Incheon dating back to late 19th century, originally serving foreign traders when Incheon opened as a port. There are several covered alleys packed with food stalls, small shops, and produce and fish markets – very authentic and traditional. It’s a good place to try local specialties like crispy sweet-and-spicy fried chicken (dakgangjeong) and chewy spicy noodles (jjolmyeon).
