The beauty of exploring Spain is that every small town off the beaten path could potentially turn out a fantastic place full of architectural and cultural eye candies. The tiny village of Orgaz didn’t feature in any guidebooks, yet it had everything – a fairytale medieval round mini-fortress with defensive walls and towers smack in the town center, a cathedral towering at the aptly-named Plaza Mayor, several old city gates, and a maze of whitewashed buildings along the cobblestone streets. And zero tourists, just a bunch of locals going around their business next to all this medieval stuff…
