Spain: Central & South Spain Food Recap
This foray into Spain included four Spanish provinces to complete my exploration of the Iberian peninsula. Mountainous Castilla La Mancha, coastal Murcia, sun-drenched Andalusia, and oak-foresty Extremadura each offered a different twist on Spanish cuisine – from hearty meals to light seafood fares. And by the the end, I went on a 100% Jamon Iberico de Bellotta diet (ham made from black pigs that roam freely in the oak forests and are only fed acorns) – this stuff is sooooooo goooood!
