Sri Lanka: Tangalle Fish Market

If you come in the early morning to the small fishing village of Tonalle near the southernmost tip of Sri Lanka, you can witness the morning fish markets when boats loaded with mostly tuna come ashore. It’s a hectic and smelly affair to watch how the fish gets sorted by type and size and fish traders buy and sell the lots.
