Svalbard: Alkefjelet – Guillemot Cliffs
The guillemot bird cliffs at Alkefjellet are one of the most spectacular sights in Svalbard – there are hundreds of thousands of seabirds (mostly guillemots) clinging and nesting in these nearly vertical sea walls.
