Svalbard: Lillihookbreen Glacier

Lillihookbreen Glacier comes from the Lillihookfjorden and is the first large glacier we encountered on our adventure. The wall of ice rises almost 80 meters and extends for almost seven miles with many smaller icebergs floating in front of it. Getting up close and personal to the 80 meter high glacial wall on board of a tiny zodiac rubber boat is an incredible and unforgettable experience. You cruise among icebergs, big and small, and the close the vertical tower of ice.
