Switzerland: Jungfraujoch – The Top of Europe
Jungfraujoch aka Top of Europe is a scientific observatory and an observation platform perched at 3,466 m (11,371 ft) above sea level. It sits on a saddle between two massive peak in the Bernese Alps – Jungfrau and Monch. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The views are absolutely panoramic and the snow-covered alpine theory is stunning. You can actually walk out onto the thick snow cover outside the station.
