Switzerland: Reichenbach Falls
Reichenbach Falls drop 820 ft / 250 m in two drops from high cliffs in the Bernese Oberland, and are one of the highest waterfalls in the Alps. A funicular takes you up to the middle and upper viewing platforms. The falls are world-famous as the sight where Arthur Conan Doyle described the death of Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Professor Moriarty.
