Switzerland: Street Parade in Zurich

Street Parade is the largest dance music festival/parade dating back to 1992 (when only 1000 people walked along two trucks playing techno music with the slogan of “freedom, love and tolerance”) – this year over 1,000,000 people gathered along the Zurich’s waterfront to watch 24 love mobiles with booming dance music of all types and styles (from house to handsup to hardcore) roll past them. In many ways, it’s a mix of Halloween parade in NYC and Tomorroland in Belgium – as people dress up and dance in the streets. The love mobiles slowly roll along the u-shaped lake front, stopping every 5-10 minutes surrounded by the partying crowd.
