Taiwan: Sanxiantai (Three Immortals)
Sanxiantai is another otherworldly coastline spot in Taiwan – a long curve of pebble beach facing several islands offshore and an incredible footbridge connecting the two. The island was a prominent headland once but the wave action and erosion separated it from the coast. There are three hills on the island, hence its name – The Three Immortals. The bridge to it is very beautiful, consisting of 9 semicircles imitating sea waves (you go up and down and up to reach the island with unbelievable seascape surrounding you).
