Taiwan: Taipei – Confucius Temple
Confucius Temple is one of the major and most serene temples in Taipei. Nestled in the heart of Taipei’s historic Datong District, it stands as a embodiment of Confucian ideals with its grand Dacheng Hall with multi-tiered orange-tiled roofs adorned in bright blues and greens, and ceramic figurines of dragons. It’s very quiet and contemplative, unlike the neighboring Taoist temples with their chaos and colors and pandemonium.
