Taiwan: Taipei – Ximending District

Ximending District is the energetic heart of Taipei – massive pedestrian-only shopping streets, neon lights, street performers, a night stands, plus gaming parlors, claw machine arcades and entertainment venues. It gets very busy after dark and Japanese and Korean influences are everywhere (maid cafes, K-pop stores, Anime streetwear). While it’s not a night market per se, stalls and shops are offering Taiwanese classics: bubble tea, gua bao, pepper buns, and more. Many spots stay open into the whee hours.
