Tanzania: Serengeti NP – Rock Hyrax

Rock hyraxes resemble marmots in appearance, but are actually distant relatives of elephants. The cute fury animals live in large colony usually in rocky areas building elaborate underground burrows. They are very inquisitive and are easily approachable.
