Timor Leste: Liquica Market
The coastal town of Liquica has a vast open-air market filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, and other local produce. The mountain climate further inland allows great agricultural production, while the sea offers its fish bounties – it all comes together at a large traditional market like this. Lots of fresh greens, root vegetables, dried fish and even dried oysters and clams, tobacco, some sort of tofu, and many more interesting things.
