As you fly to Timor Leste from Darwin in Australia )a rather short flight), you fly over the country’s rather flat south coastline, and then the spectacular central mountains (with Mount Ramelau, the highest mountain in the country at nearly ten thousand feet, clearly visible). Then you take a left and fly along the northern coastline in view of the capital city of Dili below you, before lading at Dili International Airport.
