Tuamotu/Tikehau: Sharks at Blue Lagoon
If all the beautiful colors of sand and water isn’t enough for you, there is also a chance to swim/walk/sit in the aquamarine waters of the Blue Lagoon of Rangiroa atoll, surrounded with dozens of black-tipped sharks. These harmless sharks are from 1-2 meter/ 4-6 feet long adolescents to 20-30cm/ under 1 foot baby sharks, all circling and swimming around you. You can walk among the sharks and even sit in the water surrounded by swirls of fins around you. A totally surreal experience!
