Tunisia: Ksar Ezzahra
And one more beautiful ksar – Ksar Ezzahra! It’s less visited than the others, but is unique for its location in the heart of the village. The ksar is divided into two parts: an older square section (50m in diameter) and a newer rectangular section called Ksar Jedid (70m x 90m), connected by a covered entrance. There are two separate yards here and a total 415 gorges aka granary rooms. It dates back probably to early 1700s and looks very authentic and traditional.
