Turkey: Canakkale
Canakkale is just a town where a ferry connects Europe and Asia across the Dardanelles Strait. Nice waterfront, old Clock Tower, nice restaurants, several old mosques, nice hotels, and the number one tourist attraction is the Trojan Horse used in the 2004 movie “Troy” – it looks quite photogenic, but bears zero resemblance to what the Trojan horse actually probably looked like.
