Turkey: Endless Cotton Fields of Southern Turkey
Southern Turkey all around Sanliurfa and especially south is covered by miles of endless cotton fields and trucks carrying cotton can be seen anywhere as we cotton processing plans. The highways are literally covered with cotton. Turkey is the 7th largest cotton producer in the world and most of Turkish cotton is grown in southeastern Anatoly. Turkish cotton is considered premium cotton for with extra long fibers resulting in superior absorbency.
