Tuvalu: Fongafale – the capital of Tuvalu

The capital of Tuvalu is Fongafale which is just a tiny settlement in the largest island of the Funafuti atoll – just a couple streets running long the blue lagoon beach on one side and the coral reef ocean on the other side. There are no ATMs in the whole country, and just one tiny hut of a bank which is a national bank nonetheless. And there are also several embassies – mostly Chinese or Japanese looking for fishing licenses. No tourists come here – Tuvalu is the second most least visited country.
