UAE/Dubai: Dubai Mall
This is the largest mall in the world (by total space but not by leasable space – there is a mall in China that crams in more retailers). Chances are – this is probably the most expensive mall as well – it’s a shopping Mecca for those flushed with petrodollars. The mall is massive and I did get lost three times. It also has huge multistory aquarium that has the largest single glass panel in the world. It pretty much screams “excess and over the top” on every step. For the reference, a pair of Levi’s costs over $150.
