UAE/Dubai: Sheikh Zayed Road – Skyscrapers at Night
I like contrasts! And after ruined and dusty war zone of Mogadishu, downtown Dubai looks like a different planet. Sheikh Zayed road runs through the heart of Dubai and is a 10 lane-thoroughfare. The majority of the downtown Dubai skyscrapers are all here and many have rooftop bars that allow for some spectacular views of the city of glass and steel. Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building is visible pretty much from everywhere.
