Uganda: Queen Elizabeth NP – Ishasha Lions
Ishasha is a remote region of Queen Elizabeth National Park, right on the border with Democratic Republic of Congo. Ishasha is a savanna area with many large fig tree and it’s famous the world over for its prides of lions that climb the trees. Unfortunately, only olive baboons were up in the trees, but the lions were relaxing on the ground around a freshly killed large topi (antelope) carcass – two lionesses and one male.
