Uganda: Queen Elizabeth NP – Kazinga Channel
Kazinga Channel is the dominant feature of the Queen Elizabeth National Park (in fact the park was called Kazinga before Queen Elizabeth was lured into visiting it). The channel is a natural body Of water than links two west Rift Valley lakes, Edward and George. You can take a river cruise that follows the channel near riverbanks and just be overloaded with wildlife. World’s highest concentration of hippos is here, but also all the other animals come to the water, especially in the dry season – elephants, buffallo, hippos, Nile crocodiles, Nile monitor lizards, various antelopes, countless species of birds (there are whopping 622 in the park), and so much more.
