Ukraine: Kiev – St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery

St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery is truly stunning with its blue color and golden domes, and perhaps the most beautiful religious building in Kiev, if not the entire Ukraine. The monastery complex, which includes a cathedral, refectory, bell tower, and other buildings. During the Soviet times it was demolished to make way for the government center but after the USSR collapse it was restored.
