USA/CA: Prairie Creek Redwood State Park
Prairie Creek Redwood State Park is one of the smaller state park that constitute the conglomerate is state and federal parks protecting multiple coastal Redwood grooves in the Northern California. Some of the oldest and biggest Redwood trees are here including the massive 1500 years old Big Tree that is 286 feet high and 23.7 feet in diameter – just imagine that! The forest is full of similarly massive trees, most standing isolated solo, while some are bunched together. Besides the redwoods, there are also massive Sitka spruce and Douglas fir trees.
