USA/CA: Sequoia NP – Giant Forest & Crescent Meadow

Sequoia National Park is adjacent to Kings Canyon and features more of the giant sequoia tree, particularly in the Giant Forest Area. Five of the ten most massive trees on the planet are located within the Giant Forest. The largest of them, General Sherman, is 36.5 feet (11.1 m) in diameter. There are also the Lincoln tree, the President tree, Franklin tree, Monroe tree, Adams tree, and several others. There is also the Congress Group of five super massive giant sequoias. And a fallen tree that you can drive through. And last but not least – a beautiful Crescent Meadow, green and lush of full of wildflowers.
