USA/DC: Washington DC – National Mall

A quick trip to DC for a visa run (yes – you can get 3 visas in one day despite 7-10 days processing time for each; and without involving an agency) and a little bit of sightseeing before Washington shut down. The National Mall is home to about a dozen Smithsonian museums, that are easily some of the best in the world – American History, Natural History, Air & Space, National Gallery of Art, and several others lining up the mall between the spire of the Washington Monument and the Capitol building.
