USA/FL: St Augustine Alligator Farm
I am not big on zoos in general, but St Augustine Alligator Farm is most definitely worth a visit. Here, all 24 global species of crocodileans are on display, including vast amounts of American alligators, that actually live completely wild in the bearish lagoon that is part of the park. This is one of the oldest zoological parks on America, founded in 1893. Today, it’s the only place in the world where you can see all the species alligators, crocodiles, caimans, and gharials (and you can finally see the difference between all of them). Besides the alligators, there are a lot of birds, both in captivity and in the wild, and a large display of reptiles.
