USA/GA: Lookout Mountain – Rock City Gardens
Lookout Mountain straddles the Tennessee/Georgia border, while just across the state line are the Rock City Gardens, a scenic, but rather kitschy and overhyped attraction in the Chattanooga area. An overpriced admission ticket takes you around a winding trail through various rock formations, like Balanced Rock or Fat Man’s Squeeze or Needle Eye. The High Falls are quite spectacular (although they are artificial). A viewing platform on top of the falls claims you can see seven states from here – which is actually not true and is just a marketing gimmick. The entire Rock City Gardens is just a tourist trap
