USA/IL: Chicago – Magnificent Mile
Magnificent Mile is the core of Chicago’s downtown full of skyscrapers, historic buildings, luxury hotels, and upscale restaurants – all lined up along about a mile of the Michigan Avenue starting at the Oak Street. Landmark buildings along the Magnificent Mile include Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, Water Tower, London Guarantee Tower, Trump Tower, and many others. Unusually high number of homeless and beggars on otherwise nearly empty streets – a very surreal feeling of being Will Smith in the post apocalyptic New York in I Am Legend. Oh, and we found where the famous Route 66 begins!
