USA/KS: Rock City
If you thought Mushroom Rocks were cool, then Rock City is even more mind-boggling. Geologically similar – this are layers of ancient sandstone compressed into almost perfectly round borders, Rock City boasts several dozen (if not more) rock of massive size. You can climb on top of them for aerial views or just pose next to the massive round boulders. And for some reason, there were perhaps millions of mosquitoes here – one of the most brutal mosquito experience I’ve ever seen.
