USA/ME: Acadia National Park – Cadillac Mountain
Cadillac Mountain is the highest peak in the Acadia National Park at 1530 feet, it’s also the highest mountain along the East Coast of the USA. The entire mountain is pure granite and a road winds its way up to the top. From its round flat-top summit, you can get an absolutely awesome and totally 360 degree panorama of Bar Harbor, Frenchman Bay, and pine-covered little islands in the distance. Cadillac Mountain is also the first place in the USA to see the sunrise.
