USA/OH: Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Cuyahoga Valley National Park became a national park in 2000 and is one of the very few national parks in the northeastern USA (Acadia in Maine is another one). The park protects the landscape around the Cuyahoga River with forests, rolling hills, ravines, wetlands, rivers, and over a 100 waterfalls. The most spectacular waterfall is the Brandywine Fall with an equally spectacular hike leading to it.
