USA/OR: Devil’s Churn
Another interesting spot along the central Oregon Coast – Devil’s Churn. Here, an ancient sea cave collapsed on itself and is now an open channel where the violent ocean pushes the waves in and creates churching and explosive motion, like a mini-tsunami. During high tide and storms, the water can rush and explodes up to two hundred feet in the air.
